The Role:

Due to significant growth, Ligeti Partners is seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator/Paralegal to join our Brisbane office on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our organisation, receiving comprehensive training from our team of experienced Solicitors and industry leaders to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their role. The role is broad, with some specific tasks being:

  • Creating and composing legal documents and correspondence for court purposes.
  • Preparing briefs and organising and assembling different documents.
  • Handling monthly billing processes.
  • Legal research.
  • Opening and closing files.
  • Answering inbound calls.
  • Filing and general office/administration tasks including office orders and delivering documents to the court.
  • Company and business searches.
  • Deliveries – incoming & outgoing.
  • Greeting clients.
  • Assisting with building maintenance requests. 
  • Providing assistance to lawyers as required.

Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated law student who can show initiative, prioritise tasks, and maintain a high attention to detail. You will have excellent written and verbal communication and be able to think critically and analytically. Your ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment will be crucial, as you work alongside a dynamic group of legal professionals.
