Ligeti Partners is an active member of the community.

This takes many forms, including making regular donations to and supporting various charities, participating in community sporting events, and being committed to environmental initiatives throughout our offices.

We are proud to support the following charities:

Our teams regularly take part in events and fundraise for charities such as Act for Kids, Flying Fox, Indigenous Literacy Foundation, Mother’s Day Classic, OzHarvest and Spirit to Cure.

Indigenous Literacy Foundation

We are a proud corporate sponsor of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.  

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation’s programs ‘focus on instilling a love of reading from an early age’. Having access to literacy can open doors to ‘future opportunities and choices’. Their purpose being to 

“invest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander remote Communities to provide tools and resources they request to shape the direction of their children’s literacy future.” 

Ligeti Partners is a firm believer in the value of investing in education and we are excited about this long-term partnership supporting this incredible cause.

Our Recent Community Engagement

Spirit to Cure

We are honoured to have sponsored the 2026 Spirit to Cure Run event, with our team also taking part, running the 50km course.

Our Sydney and Melbourne teams will be walking the 21km events later in the year.

Spirit to Cure is an initiative of Suncorp to raise funds for Tour de Cure. The funds raised are used for cancer research, support and prevention.

Flying Fox Basketball Funday

This year we once again took part in Flying Fox’s Basketball Funday. It was a great opportunity not only for the team to “dribble for purpose”, but to support and learn more about the fantastic work Flying Fox does.

Indigenous Literacy Foundation Trivia Night

In December we sent a team to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation’s annual trivia night in Melbourne.

Amongst the trivial pursuit, the team had the chance to help raise funds to support the charity’s literacy programs in remote Indigenous communities and learn about the charity’s endeavours along the way.

Flying Fox Bingo Night

In April we attended Flying Fox’s Bingo Night. This event was a great forum for the team to learn more about the charity and it’s goals as well as to support young people with disability.

Auto & General x Act for Kids Golf Day 2025

We were delighted to attend Auto & General’s annual Golf Day to support Act for Kids. Act for Kids delivers “evidence-led professional therapy and support services to children and families who have experienced or at risk of harm”.

This day provided the perfect occasion to support the amazing work Act for Kids does.

Bridge to Brisbane 2025

In September, some of our Brisbane team members joined the Act for Kids team in their walk for Bridge to Brisbane.

This was a great occasion for the team to get involved in and support Act for Kids.

Mother's Day Classic

In 2026, we took part in the Mother’s Day Classic walks around Victoria for the third year in a row. 

The Mother’s Day Classic Foundation raises life-saving funds for research into breast and ovarian cancer. Their aim is to unite and inspire the community with a fun and engaging event experience whilst celebrating and remembering those touched by breast and ovarian cancer.

OzHarvest

In July 2026, our Sydney office took part in OzHarvest’s Cooking for a Cause. The team spent their morning turning rescued ingredients into meals to support vulnerable communities.

This was a great opportunity to be able to give back to the local community!

We also encourage and support our staff to engage with charities and organisations with which they are affiliated or wish to assist. To this end, all Ligeti Partners staff are provided with additional leave each year to support causes that matter to them.
