John is an experienced litigation lawyer having practised in different jurisdictions in Australia including New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territory and in the United Kingdom. He has substantial experience in different areas of insurance law particularly in the transport industry.
John’s practice has involved the conduct of matters throughout Australia representing the insured interests of heavy vehicle, marine, aircraft, airport and airport ground service operators in property damage, personal injury, cargo and indemnity claims.
John has a working knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act, Australian Consumer Law, the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act and the Civil Aviation Acts and enjoys working with claim managers and brokers to develop strategies to manage risk and resolve complex claims.
