Lucia Cocco is an insurance litigation lawyer at Ligeti Partners. She graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce followed by a Master of Laws Juris Doctor. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2017 and has since worked in top tier domestic insurance and international construction firms before joining Ligeti Partners. She is admitted to practice in both the State and Federal Courts of Australia and has experience litigating matters in the jurisdictions of Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
Lucia leads a specialist team of four lawyers in the field of motor vehicle insurance representing some of Australia’s largest insurance firms. She litigates both recovery and settlement matters, defends recovery agent / credit hire claims and has a particular interest in litigating disputes involving building and property damage resulting from motor vehicle collisions.
