Sindri is a highly experienced litigator, with a strategic focus. He has a broad practice, regularly advising and acting for major insurers across all jurisdictions with a particular focus on property damage, property liability, construction claims and giving advice on indemnity and policy coverage.

Sindri also has extensive experience acting for builders, developers and homeowners in construction disputes; and has developed a specialist practice acting for childcare, Family Day Care and NDIS operators in relation to regulatory and compliance issues.

Recent projects include:

  • Acting for an insurer following the significant and sudden collapse of a commercial property, including facilitating urgent expert inspections, make safe works and ensuring recovery prospects were retained against the persons involved in excavation works at a neighbouring development.
  • Acting for a high-profile builder in defending various multi-million building defect claims, including in relation to allegedly combustible cladding.
  • Acting for an insurer in a multi-million dollar recovery claim arising from a fire in a commercial shopping centre, including dealing with complex causation issues.
  • Acting for an insurer and owners corporation in a successful multi-million dollar builders warranty recovery claim against five developers of a strata complex.
  • Acting for various childcare and Family Day Care providers, and NDIS providers, in response to regulatory and compliance action being taken by the relevant State and Commonwealth regulatory authorities, including representing those clients in NCAT, AAT, Supreme Court and the Federal Court.
